To get better support and/or advice , please follow below shown steps before posting a question on the forum:

1. Check and re-check your Tribon Documentation
2. Consult your local Tribon admin, expert user, etc.
3. Use old-fashioned "legwork approach" by trial and error
4. Check with AVEVA's Marine Product Support (MPS)

5. The better you describe your problem the probability of getting helpful answer is bigger. One sentence question is often not enough.
6. Do not forget to mention version of tribon you are using, especially when describing an error.

Although I would gladly describe myself as "old fashioned person"
I do not know what does mean
"legwork approach" by trial and error
Anyone could help me to understand that phrase?

Hello Adam,

The term "legwork" referrs to a slower, more tedious, or more detailed way of doing something ... and performing this task yourself.

For example, I might have a vitesse program that inserts 2 flanges, 2 gaskets, and 1 valve to a pipeline. And it also applies position numbers. Now if the program fails to work there could be something wrong with it or with the pipe line. One way of determining the problem is to manually walk through all the steps that the program is doing (or doing the "legwork".)

Regards,
Dana

I noticed that nowadays there are lots of topics that are similiar or exact the same problems were solved or discussed in previous topics or the author of the topic has not even look at the documentation that can easily solve her/his problem.

I am very glad to have a forum that very valuable knowhow and experience is shared.
Here is a lot of expert users of different disciplines. I request from all users to show respect to them.

Best Regards,
cloudy
